Eric E. Winter (“WIN-tur”), a Berks County Native, has vast experience with both jury and non-jury trials in many areas including child custody, personal injury, medical malpractice, criminal law, gun law, and immigration law. He has served as the judicial law clerk to President Judge Scott D. Keller at the Berks County Court of Common Pleas. He has also served with the Berks County District Attorney’s Office, where he spent time as the Chief of Trials overseeing appeals, and where he helped establish the District Attorney’s Drug, Alcohol and Mental Health Treatment Court Programs. Mr. Winter is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Winter has been the Editor of the Berks County Bar Journal. He has also previously served as a board member of Berks Connections Pretrial Services and of Easy Does It, Inc. He has been the Chair of the Immigration Law Committee of the Berks County Bar Association. He has also been a member of both the Berks County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Mr. Winter graduated from the University of Scranton with honors in the Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Program. He also graduated from Villanova University School of Law. He is an Eagle Scout and has won the Boy Scouts of America Hawk Mountain Council District Award of Merit. He has also won the Berks Connections Pretrial Services W. Richard Eshelman Award. Mr. Winter lives in West Lawn with his wife and 3 children.
