Daniel Hong is an attorney that specializes in matters of immigration law, business law, tax law, and real estate. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hong was a part of the U.S. Army National Guard in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. While there, Mr. Hong took part in the January 2021 Presidential Inauguration with the VA Army National Guard.
Mr. Hong has prior experience in immigration, handling Immigrant and Nonimmigrant Visa applications for various businesses, nonprofits, and churches. In addition, he has represented immigration clients before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) in Virginia for asylums, waivers, and cancellation of removal hearings. Mr. Hong is also admitted to practice bankruptcy before the Eastern and Middle District Courts of Pennsylvania. He has helped various clients with bankruptcy related matters from individual debt, mortgage foreclosures, personally guaranteed business loans, and car repossessions. Mr. Hong is also adept at handling various transactional matters from tax, real estate, business, and nonprofit matters. He has handled various types of business and nonprofit set ups, business purchases, business contracts, agreements of sale, and tax deficiencies with the IRS.
Mr. Hong graduated from CUNY Queens College with honors in Sociology. He also graduated from Liberty University School of Law where he was voted unanimously by the Faculty as Law Student of the Year, was a recipient of the Faculty Award and the Cali Award in Jurisprudence. He has also worked as a legal research assistant at Liberty University School of Law aiding in research and publications, most notably at The Federalist. He is an adjunct professor of Business Law at Cairn University. He is currently attending Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he is working on attaining a Masters of Laws (LLM) in Taxation.
